Welcome to A.I.M. Preparation LLC, (Awareness In Motion) we are looking for novice shooters from all backgrounds and walks of life. People who want to learn how to protect themselves, their families, and their homes. We start with a personalized approach to teaching safety, the fundamentals, situational awareness, and responsible gun ownership. Students will learn range etiquette, basic marksmanship, firearm maintenance, train in mock scenarios of real life events that have happened, situational awareness with your firearm, and much more. When you are ready for gun ownership, we can help guide you on the best firearm fit for you and your needs. We have a selection of firearms for you to try, without the pressure to buy, in a safe, and educational setting. Our instructors are USCCA certified and offer CCW classes for the state of Oklahoma.

Our Weapons Retention classes are for all student levels and will help you learn how to maintain control of your firearm in a hand-to-hand situation.

A.I.M. Preparation LLC offers lessons for kids, starting at the age of 6+.

We also offer private training sessions for those who have specific training or qualification needs.​ For our more seasoned shooters, A.I.M. Preparation LLC offers: intermediate and advanced pistol and rifle lessons, tactical shooting, and house clearing.

A Little About Us
"Hello!
My name is Jonathan Cantwell and I am the owner and lead firearms instructor of A.I.M. Preparation LLC. This is a proudly Veteran-owned and operated business.

A.I.M. Preparation was started in Oklahoma, USA, 2023. I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer for over 4 years and was honorably discharged in 2018.
During my time in service, I learned I had a knack for shooting, but even more so, having a passion for helping and coaching others. I helped many Marines and Sailors with their rifle marksmanship and qualifications. After my time in service, I joined the Federal Bureau of Prisons working as a Corrections Officer. While at my training, I helped coach fellow officers on pistol, rifle, and shotgun marksmanship.
I have been teaching firearms for 10+ years and absolutely love it. Nothing makes me feel better than when new students have that "ah-ha" moment, and everything just clicks. What truly makes me happy, is when I see my students get over their fear of firearms and learn that they are tool's to be respected, not feared. I am genuinely passionate about coaching and helping new shooters. I want, and believe, that every American has a right to feel safe and protected, but by their own means, not through someone else's."
